Visual merchandising and event management & production company achieves global recognition with its latest ISO 20121 Sustainable Events Management System certification.
Singapore (23 December 2020) - H.A.M. Creations Pte. Ltd. (HAM Creations) has landed its latest achievement in the area of sustainability by attaining the ISO 20121 Sustainable Events Management System certification [1]. This certification is a testament to HAM Creations' long-term commitment to environmental protection and sustainable events production. It positions the company among some of the biggest names within the events industry based on sustainability efforts.
HAM Creations’ ISO 20121 certification is set to enhance the company’s competitive edge by supporting its environmentally conscious clients to improve their reputation in sustainable event management as well as meet their sustainability goals. In 2014, before receiving the certification, H.A.M. Creations started a strong sustainability and recycling strategy. The company would significantly reduce waste from store-fixture updates and post-event teardowns through a process of waste segregation. Recyclable materials such as acrylic, paper, metal and wood are separated in-house before being sent to the respective recycling centres. This latest milestone achieved by HAM Creations is part of its FY20 growth strategy towards greater Environmental, Social and Corporate Governance.
ISO 20121 is an international standard launched in 2012 with an overall objective to help improve sustainability throughout the entire event management cycle. Environmentally conscious meeting planners and organisations looking to improve the sustainability of their events, products or services may achieve their goals more efficiently by seeking out service providers that are compliant with the ISO 20121 standard.
